Francis Tumuheirwe has very long and broad experience in economic management and issuance of public debt. He has served as commissioner for Macroeconomic Policy at the Ministry of Finance in Uganda and Economic Advisor to the UN Country Team in South Sudan. He has very wide experience in consulting work and key competences in finance & enterprise risk management.
He holds a first degree in Statistics & Economics from Makerere University and a post-graduate degree in Economics from Bradford University, United Kingdom. He is the current Chairman of UEDCL and has previously served on the NSSF and UBOS boards.
